Joe Hickenbottom will be bringing his Costa and Stewart AA/GS Willys that he recently aquired! Joe will be putting it back together unrestored and will have it running for the Fresno dragways Reunion, what a find!



Joe will also bring his '57 "Axle Twister" Blown 409 57 Chevy to have some fun with his friends from Oregon with the willys and Anglia.

You won't want ta miss this one!

BIG NEWS!
The GASSERS ARE COMING! We may need to change the name to Eagle Field's Gasser Gathering as we have a Growing list of Gasser entries!
Our own HAMB member Scott/ Chuckles Garage plans on debuting the "Strange Bird" Falcon Gasser at the event and will hopefully be sporting a Hilborn 2 Port injector!


Joe Hickenbottom's friends from Oregon are putting together and scheduled to appear with a former Willys Gasser Warrior from the era!


Rich Roberts from Turlock will be on hand with his awesome rig and has talked about a Starting Line appearance

Jay Diedrich will also be returning with the original Rat Poison and may have his new Pro Mod Camaro on display!

Jerry Mallicoat has even talked to me about appearing with the Mallicoat Bros. 'Cuda!

He'd be hard pressed to make the first one, but the second might be do-able for him.

Tom's conned me into diddling up an occasional drop-on body for the Barn Job, just for the hell & the fun of it. Also for the incredible improbability of hell freezing over during "global warming" and my lifetime, and an HA/GMR class magically appearing out of the marsh fog.

No, there'll be no pictures gentlemen, and no info other than she won't be green (maybe) and she will be able to use "the key" (likely). You'll see'er when, and if, I get'er done.

Talked to the owner of KBK Oils today, more Dust Control is on the way and the Bleachers have been arranged again by my friends Storm (SAIS Bearing) and Chris (Lopes Trucking) from Dos Palos!!

 

Heck, my gas tank's already back there, and without even a bumper, gravel pan, or plastic tail light lenses to protect it.
You're right, that'd make a Pinto bod the perfect choice.

Most of the modified roadster builds of the '50s were late '20s to early '30s bods, but as a Chrysler man I'm not all that familiar with the Ford line.
What years did they make the Pinto roadster model ?

In my Nitro enthusiasm my made a mistake, Brendans "Blue Car" is on Alcohol, not NITRO! Brendan did say he could put som Nitro in the tank, we'll have to wait and see.

 

My buddy talked me into going and it looks like a cool event. I'll be there with the "Trouble-Maker's Green Slime' 1961 Falcon Gasser. Real gasser from Chicago, run at US 30 and Great Lakes.

 

Looking forward to checking out the Falcon, you bringing it to the ANRA Race next week?

 

Looks like we'll be testing at Fontana.

 

New for the Fresno Dragways Reunion! Eagle Field will have a Friday night Pre-Race Party May 20th for people spending the night and any race day ticket holder (tickets will be sold at the gate) who would enjoy some "Blues" music, Cars and Friends. More info soon. Rocky

WOW, I recieved a call from Ken Dodero who plans on attending! For those who may not recognize the name Ken was one of the very few who drove a Blown Gasser (Panella's) with a 4 Speed drove for the likes of Dyno Don and Grumpy Jenkens. Just over a month away and we're looking to have a fantastic time. Rocky
