Youre right. I didnt go there intending to run but my buddy in the 31 coupe was signed up so I went up and paid to run too.

I have maybe 12 passes at Kennedale and thats it as far as drag racing.

SHoulda indexed 9.00.

If I dont tear my chit up, I will drive up there for that!

Rusty, Danny and crew that set this up, thank you very much. I don't think I have ever enjoyed an event as much as I did this one . Good people make good things happen. Congrats on a job well done.

Big thanks to Rusty, Danny, Chandler and everyone else that helped out..Best time Ive had in awhile, lots of good cars, better people and even better racing! Thanks to everyone for putting this on. I didn't have the truck running good enough to race but had one hell of a time anyway.
I bet Thay (gasser300) is still smiling.
Hopefully this continues to get a bigger every year. I talked to alot of people the past couple weeks who where turned off to it from the reputation yellow belly has had in the past, for those people you are missing one of the best events in Texas.

 

Photoman, Cook, & Mopar, great shots! Thanks for sharing! Didn't arrive until around after three, so I missed most of the good stuff but your pics helped show me what was happening. And thanks to everyone for putting this on. Fun times for certain!

My wife said she thought she saw you driving around the pits with kids in the car (with big smiles) more than she saw you on the track.

 

im working on getting my pics off my camera. i got some good ones since I was in the tower helping during eliminations. Thanks for every one that came out. Old Doc had all the kids and women smiling. Doc let a few of the adult girls ride in his car with Skotz driving, but Doc made sure he got to buckle them in

Great pics rick and photoman! I wish I coulda made it out. Looks like I missed a really good time and hanging out with some of you guys I havent seen in a while. I can tell ya I wont miss next year!!

Gotta say Chuck, my father and I had a blast down there. You guys are always so nice and welcome us like family. Rusty and crew....great job! Hope next year I can bring my Anglia.

way to go rusty, looks like you a had a great turnout and good weather, you can pat yourself on the back... the people have spoken and you did good............

 

I'll have the wife post pics but the camera bag that had the expensive camera and camcorder in it was left in the parking lot of the hotel. Luckily it was still there 7 hours later but had been run over. They are going to overnight it just praying it's not as bad as it sounds.

I also need to thank Tim with Irrational Metal Works (www.irrationalmetalworks.com ) for helping Skot, Rick and myself in dragging our cars to the line and then dragging us back from the top end. We could not have done it without Tim.

What a great weekend of racing. It was good to see everyone and getting time to hang out. Congrats to Doc for his win and to Mark for his win in the Hill Rat v. Skull Orchard Showdown. Mark – Don’t think you’re going to come to Texas and do much more poaching down here. Congrats to Rick for terrorizing the comp class and putting people on the trailer left and right. That truck is getting faster every race

Better watch out for Skot. He’s getting that flathead dialed in and took a win over the Scorpion. I can’t forget about Hot Rod Bill either, who put me on the trailer in the second round. Great weekend. See everyone at the next one.
