Great show. They said 160 cars last year and this year over 200 this year. While competing with GG Pleasanton, Monterey Rock and Rod Show, and a couple other local shows. That area has some of the finest lowriders and customs and Cole Foster swung by for a while and I talked to Rod Powell for a bit. The weather reminded me of SM though. They kept everyone busy: Bands I remember.... The Rev Tones, Los High Tops, The Rockets. Bass-off Pin-up contest Brian
Glen McDowell Photography had his trailer set-up. A couple bans pix The Bass-off contestants And a couple cars that Fonzi would have loved.... B
The guys did a really great job organizing and promoting the show and we had a really good time! Thanks for posting all of those photos.
Thanks everyone. JK, too funny. Just Saturday show. It was a bit long (awards at 4pm) but the bands, pin-up contest and especially the "bass-off" were cool. Those wheels were very feastive and gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that. There was a lot of Non-HAMB material there but made it a great mix. B
The Bass Off....sounds like a fun thing...I assume it was a 'Battle of the Bass players' and not a pair of H*nda's with dumb ass sound systems...
