2x2 intake for a y block???

Been to alot of swapmeets over the years and was wondering if anyone back in the day produced a 2x2 intake for the y block, can't seem to find or see one? I'm be interested in buying one for my '29 roadster project if they do exist.

 

There are some nice adapters that make a 4 bbl manifold into a 2X2 . The Y-shaped one is especially nice looking . They run new from $125 to about $200 depending on the maker . A number of them have been for sale here if you delve into the archives .

 

The only 2x2 that I know of is the marine Interceptor manifold, which isn't a conventional 2x2- it uses Carter YH sidedraft carburetors. They are on eBay occasionally. Sometimes you see one that has been modified to accept downdraft carbs like Webers.

If there was a conventional 2x2 made, I'd like to see pics.
