Actually I have a 4 day-weekend and decided to sand my green '60 NewYorker and paint it semigloss black. I'll be adding green or grey metallic scallops later on though.

Should be able to get all my welding done on my bike.
Actually I rpobably will end up messing with the car too.

  3. I'm finally finishing the angle chop on my '28 Tudor.

  4. I have to work Sunday morning but other than that I plan on getting the new 6 banger painted and detailed. Todd

3 things: Mow the lawn, drink beer, and remember those who fought and died.

Maybe continue on my O/T car that's got me scratching my head right now.

Planing on doing a compression check on the '63 Poncho. If it has decent compression, I think I'll just replace the timing chain and gears and do the heads. If it's down on compression a complete rebuild is in order.

I'm going to finish up the last little bit of welding on my top, Raise the front spring mounts on the rear axle as high as they can go on the frame and try to get the frame for the pass. side wing window bent up and installed. Gotta love long weekends! If there is any time left I'm going to put about 150 miles on it too!

if it ain't raining Saturday i'm gonna try to haul the '62 Falcon to the DMV to get title done. if it ain't raining Sunday i'm gonna do some work on the '59 galaxie. Monday we're open for business so i'll be staring at computer screen all day waiting for phone calls from repair shops, body shops, etc that are all CLOSED for Memorial Day............ fucking retail.

gotta HAUL the Falcon to the DMV so the Police can verify the VIN. it's nowhere near drivable yet, but getting the title in my name is a priority especially if i decide to SELL it.

and thanks to all my brothers and sisters even those who did NOT serve in the Navy for all you do and and have done. that includes those ungrateful Marines we toted all over the seven seas....... SA-LUTE!

Straighten up the shop and get things ready to do the engine/trans replacement on the '64 ElCamino. Doesn't sound like much but you haven't seen the shop.:( Oh yea, watch some racing (meaning, catching up on my nap time:))

Looks like Ill be driving my roadster all weekend....no work for me

  20. I'll be set up at a car show most of the weekend, but next week sometime I hope to swap a cab over from an AA to an A. With any luck when I'm done I'll have something I can actually sell and then I can buy the rest of the pieces to swap a 350 in my '50 Chevy.

Ahh, for the joy of unbolting things no one's touched since Henry's boys installed them in 1931, that have spent most of the time since (if not all of it) outside in the weather.
