I agree with the others. I think what you have will work but the rubber hose kills the rest of the beautiful detail you have going with the rest of you ch***is. A hard line from pump to carb would really finish it off. If you do it look back at the pictures with the hose and you will be glad you took the time to finish it. I love the blue by the way!!

Remember you need a rubber line from the frame to the inlet on the pump to allow for engine movement. I would run about a 6" length. That part of the fuel line is not under pressure because it is before the pump.

It won't work - but not because of the fuel lines. That SBC is going to be so seriously indignant that you painted it blue, it's going to refuse to ever run right. Paint it orange immediately, or at the very least rockabilly red.

O/T but what are these carbs worth? I know an old guy who has a big rubber maid container of them. I was looking for 97s and 94s but if these are worth grabbing I'll take a few of them.

    Hot Rod,
What brackets are you using for the accelerator cable and trans kick down?
    Thanks, John

I had a 49 Dodge sometime back and I did have wooden clothes pins on the fuel line. Not on this one...I hope.

Thanks for the input. I am going to run a hard line from the pump to the first tee. I have a hose connecting the hard line from the tank to the pump, I think it's about 5 or 6 inches.
    Thanks, John

PS I will post a picture with the hard line.

Thanks for the picture of your set-up. I didn't think about the possibility of turning the tee's 90 degrees. Looks good.

    Big Bad John,

Sorry I couldn't talk to much today. It ****s, someone cool comes into work who lives 232 miles away and its so busy I hardly get to talk. We where swamped tonight. After you left I looked around and found some more br*** fittings behind the counter but I don't think you cold have used any of it.

Actually, it is a good looking color, I was just giving you a hard time. I see you're running valve cover breathers, but I can't help but think how good that would look with Chevrolet script covers with the script picked out in black.

What's all this in, by the way?

Hey John----I used a Lokar thottle plate---goes under the back carb---and used a stock a Nova kick-down bracket---something like a 69-70 small block-4 bbl ---it bolts to the last 2 bolts on the intake
