These are not what I consider good shots, but the car was wild so I thought I would include these B&W snapshots of it.

  3. WILD, I suspose that is a polite way to call it....... Hell, did I say that out loud...... I better go and wash my mouth out....... each to their own.....

Mark it is probably OT anyway.

Back to the normal stuff - these two - in opposite colors were quite an attractive pair.

  6. No Dan, I was just being harsh, I think that car is modelled off the Cord ( I think that is what they were ) style car of the '30's so it really isn't OT.
I do like how you can make an imagine black and white but the subject, in this case the two '32's to be in colour.

It works great in certain instances but you don't want to overdo it. In this case, I was trying to set the focus on how the two cars have opposite color schemes.

  11. An early "A " on '32 rails with the perfect wheel tyre combination is just the think wet dreams are made of..... and I'm not a great fan of '32 grilles used on pre '32 cars but this one is perfect...

This fine roadster was put together by Famous Jack Fuller for Tommy Edwards from Portsmouth, VA.

Jack keeps turning out the 32s... he made an exception by using an earlier body for his buddy, Tommy, but he is, shall we say, "focused" on 32s.

I drove over to his shop one day in one of my 36 Fords and Jack asked me, "What kind of car is that?"

You can argue about allot of things but not Famous's Fords... they are built to be driven and he, and his travelling pals, drive them for sure! I mean DRIVE them!

Thanks Matt - I was definitely drawn to it and the 32 it was hanging out with and photographed them a number of times. Thank you Al for contributing the information on the owner and builder.

Here is Jay Judds 34 coupe by the bandstand. It was great hanging out with Jay and his friend David (I don't know if I ever got his last name). David introduced me to Roy Brizio.

David (don't have his last name off the top of my head, but he is a great guy to hang around with) - introduced me to Roy Brizio and John Mumford who I believe was one of the guys who drove cross country to RJR with Roy.

Thanks Mark, and thanks jackandeauces for the owner info. Here are a couple more of Tony's 39 while we're on the subject.

Zack Loftis's 1930 Model A truck - I loved this one, but sadly did not ever catch it in a place where both the light and the surroundings were good at the same time.

  25. That second photo of Tony's '39 Ragtop is just so right to show off the beautiful curves that body has. I always find it hard not to single one car out above all others that I would like to own and keep to myself and this '39 has just leapt to the top of my list of wow, wish it was mine dept. in my head. Congratulations Tony for such an amazing car.
