Sorry, no, and it's sorta torn down right now...

I used a common 2-pole sliding switch from Radio Shack, screwed to the firewall. I put a light rod from a hole drilled in the switch slide, to slide thru a little plate I put on the linkage treads . When I stepped on the gas hard enough the plate hit a bend in the rod and switched the switch. As soon as i let up a little it would shift back up to OD.

It was all wired the same as the "Figure 8" diagram above, except my kickdown switch ran from the linkage instead of the pedal.

Was that the similar to an inhibitor switch? I put a momentary-on ****on switch in my shift knob that interrupted the governor wire. I could delay the upshift by holding the ****on down. If you used a regular toggle switch it would just keep it out of OD 'til it was turned on.

You can also have a kickdown inhibitor, that byp***es the kickdown, so it wouldn't down shift so soon.

there's book out there called "thunder road flathead," by bill sinclair, and he has a chapter on getting an overdrive up and working. one alternative he mentions that will save some dough is to use a headlight relay from a 60s mopar--about $20 compared to $100+ for a "correct" replacement relay.

I know it's been seven years but I'm glad I found this thread.. I'll be bouncing the 318 that's in my 66 GMC.. It's been popping out of third on hills.. I acquired a 319 w/ OD and hope I can get it going right.. The schematics and illustrations on this thread regarding the SM319 and R10 overdrive are exactly what I needed.. Thanks guys..
