Anyone have a wiring diagram on how to make your own? I misplaced mine and I sure as hell don't have over $200 for another one! Also I switched to 12v is the solenoid going to be ok?

Have a look at this: http://www.studebaker-info.org/tech/transmission/BW-OD/ODrlyrep.html

This subs***utes a common Bosch relay for the stock unit.

As far as the switch to 12v, it all depends. If your 6v solenoid is in good fettle it can last quite awhile on 12v. The problem is that it is an electromagnet and is more dependent on amperage than voltage to operate. 12v systems operate at 1/2 the amps of 6v systems. The 6v solenoid will get pretty hot trying to pull the amps it needs. That said, I've been running a 6v solenoid through a 12v relay on my Merc for about a year to no apparent detriment.

If it's a 3 speed with OD, yes it has a governor.

Thanks Dobie you pointed me in the right direction. I started driving it and it could really use that OD. With an open header I can't hear **** for an hour after I drive it!
