3-Speed toploader clutch options

Hi All! Hope everyones doing well.I am in the process of setting up a project.34 Ford truck cab on a 30 Z'd frame. Things look kinda cramped in the pedal area and I'm just curious what the opinions are of hydraulic VS linkage style manual clutch hookups? Whats more dependable?,easy to install? Has anyone done a cable kit for clutch? Thank you all!
