Featured History 3 Window Conversions - Documenting those that exist.

  1. My old buddy Paul Mckelly's (SPELLING) RIP 41 Chevy. This car was loosely based on Joe Bailon's Miss Elegance 41 Chevy. Paul was known for his black paint jobs, and later painted this car black. Paul's nickname was Black Jack. The car still exists but is in hiding since Paul passed away over 30 years ago. I don't know the status of the car, or where it is currently hiding. Hopefully all that drama has been sorted out, and the car is back out where it belongs, but I really don't know.

    My old 1937 Plymouth I was building. Converted to 3w. Project stalled out and ended up parting the whole thing. Body went up north to an old timer who build a drag car out of it.

    Looks like the car in post # 124 started life as a '49-50 Mercury, ouch.
