The 30-31 5 window has rear side window trim that gets nailed on to retain the glass and then the upholstry gets nailed over the trim flange. This seems a little weird and the trim must fit exactly as there is no room for error. Has anyone cut off the trim flanges and drilled holes in the trim to retain it? My thought is to screw the trim down on top the upholstry panel to the wood around the rear window. Looks cleaner and covers up your fitting errors. Kermit
I dont think it would look right. The trim looks good because there are no holes in it. It is a weird setup but it looks right without holes in it.
