30-31 drip rails on 29 coupe??

Will the drip rails over the door and quarter window off a 30-31 coupe work ok for a 29 coupe. Someone shaved mine off my 29 before I got it and found some for a 30-31. thanks

 

This was discussed a couple of months ago and i (think)the only difference was the distance from the top of the door to the bottom of the drip rail 29 were higher at the back of the door and i (think) there is a well /or indentation the drip rail sets in and spot welded from inside the car ,the ones on my 31 are not the best but they are flush good luck==Jack
