My wifes good friend Stacie has had a 30/31 roadster body stuck away for the last couple of years and weve been planning the build for a while, I had my buddy Eric (thirty-two on the hamb) at south side speed shop in Owatanna jig up and build a 32 frame for her project, so we started off with a great base, jr 32 rails, chassis x memebers, flat front crossmember and flatened 40 rear crossmember, and the rear was c nothed and raised about 3 inches for a lowe stance. shes got a 327 with a muncie 4 speed, and a 9" rear, the motors will sport an edelbrock 6x2 intake and 6 97's, and cal custom valve covers.

heres a few pics of the progress on the car, so far we got the front end set up on the car ( A dropped axle, low ride front spring, hairpins, 48 spindles etc etc) and Eric had mocked the rear axle and welded on the 40 rear spring mounts to the axle, were gonna finish the rear suspension with pete and jakes type ladder bars.

then we mounted up the motor with a hurst motor mount up front and well be running side mounts on the gm side mount bell housing.

the body is channeled about 1" over the frame

    w/s is chopped 5"

750-16 in the rear and 600-16 in the front

she works on it on wedsnday nights so progress isnt the fastest but itll get done, she likes to do as much as she can, so i try and let her do as much as i can but the usual maleness interferes, so i try to stand back as much as i can. shes a good worker too.

she was out blasting the body in the cold yesterday, glad its not my car, i dont have to do what ever i dont want to do!

Lookin' good Jeff. Stacy is such a trooper. I'm so proud of her doing this car and wanting to be so involved, she truly loves this stuff. Nice job Stacy!

Are you guys still planning on running that Schroeder box I sold her a few years back? That thing was soo bad ass!

Not the Wifes car, wifes friend!

Shes got the week off so shes been hitting it pretty hard on the car, shes been working on the subrails and getting the body mounted, the floors/subrails should be pretty far along by the end of the week.

well post some more pics of it.

We're starting a baby blue wheel trend in Jeff's garage. Baby blue is the new flat black!

You got a nice looking car there Stacie. Jeff and Eric have a great eye and the talent to back it up. You're lucky to have them helping ya out.

So who's "A" is gonna hit the streets first, Stacie's or Bull's?
