hello, have a ex-closed cab pickup....roof was cut off..great body with no doors..cant find 30/31 pu/sedan doors but friend has some 30/31 fordor doors.. ill double check but think they are 2'' shorter (than closed cab pickup door)in width like a coupe door is... Anyway, Plan to cut the top off of them and make a roadster pickup. Question is do 30/31 model a roadster car and roadster pickup share the same door? Seems 30/31 roadster car doors aren't that wide. Does anyone have a real 30/31 roadster pickups? So that I could ask u about some measurements off the cab? and make mine similar Thank you for your help and time
hi mr lincoln roadster and roadsterpickup doors are differant pressings to a closed cab and sedans your cowl will have to be changed to a roadster cowl if you use roadster doors if you keep the closed cab cowl and want longer doors you could use 30 31 vickydoors and lop the top of them but dont get caught i do gl*** ones but some on the hamb dont like gl*** but i say if it gets me and my **** in a rod on the road i dont give a **** kev
Model A roadster and rpu doors are the same. The rpu cab back is deeper than a closed cab to make up the difference in door lengths. Clark built a real good looking rpu out of a closed cab... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=77860&page=2 Then thereis this one, but it's a 32... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=299603 Neal
So if a Coupe with the top cut off is a Coupester, is a Closed Cab Pickup with the top cut off a Cloister?
