I'm looking for some good pictures or ideas of layout for gasoline driveway signs from the 30'4 or 40's... I mean the kind jerry the local service station proprietor might have drawn up himself advertising "Gas 39 cents" slipped into a driveway sign frame and set out at the roadside to entice passersby... or even any other kind of proprietor designed catchy service station slogan sign... or something along those lines... hand painted... and such.. I'm not looking for pictures of Petroleum brand signs, just the off the beaten path type things... any help and pictures would be very appreciated something along the lines of the picture below
