Your thoughts?.......the chop was easy, regarding the channel? I had a good look this evening it appears a channel is going to take some work. Where to start?
Hunting over........Back to building a hot rod.......Brakes and boxing the frame. Picked up a flat head 8...Thanks again for the info. Please post some more photo's if you have some. ..No channel...good call.
Okay......Mule deer down...now hunting is over. Do you live in Heaven? That area looks amazing!!! ..... High Prairie Alberta .... Big Dirty most refer to here as Gods Country. Heaven is only 3 hours west of us. Great hunting/fishing......lots of closet "Hot Rodders"...I found a good parts link in one of your old threads. "Pete and Jakes"...
I hear ya. I'm just sleep deprived and cranky. BTW, I like your coupe. I've finishing a '29 with a 3.5" chop and 4 inch channel, should be on the road next summer.
thanks smokey, i have nothing against channeled cars. i just never see myself building anything that style.. post some pics of your coupe..
Not much to see right now, just the rolling (running) ch***is with the cowl mounted. It's got an SBC in it right now but I am finishing up a BOP TH350 to bolt up to my 400 Pontiac. The Honey-Do list was too long this summer to make much progress.
A Chopped Coupe...John thanks again. Great photo's..Ron http://groups.msn.com/FordFlathead19...Ph otoID=4380 or here is the website with 5 pages of the build: http://groups.msn.com/FordFlathead19...ow.msnw?Pa
Good evening I know this post really has nothing directly to do with building a hot rod however it does clearly explain why I haven't had the opportunity to continue with the build. This is High Prairie Alberta, it's turned cold, snow now on the ground, mid November, the rut has started and hunting it fantastic. Two weeks left ....Big bucks are down...
Good evening Dirty2 I do have a garage actually, the problem, it's full of deer hanging from the ceiling by their back legs.....Going to make Jerky to provide nourishment for those long cold winter nights when I'm out there working on the "Hot Rod"....
