what is the proper way to adjust the pressure plate screws through the inspection cover on the bellhousing? distance from plate fingers to throwout bearing?

  2. If those pressure plate finger screws are like many stacks of clutches I have seen during the rebuild process.......Those pressure plate screws are adjusted for proper finger height when the PP is on the adjustment tool. The best I know, after finger height is set, you adjust the linkage for clutch wear.
The only exception that I know to this is with some medium duty and big truck clutches and know what spec to adjust them to.
If this is different, I'm wanting to learn.

Those screws are not meant to be moved after initial setting on the build fixture.
