30 model A sedan tire help

I need a little help. I have 27 inch tall tires for my mockup and thought I needed some taller ones. Well I ordered some 31x12.5x 15 and I think they may be too tall. What's your thoughts? I am thinking matybe I should go with some 29" ? The fronts will be 24"

I have 29" on my sedan, and think they are about right. They do need to move aft about 1" yet.

 

The 31's follow the wheel arch perfectly...I like 'em...That's Hot Rod!
The 27's are to wimpy!

got 31 inch cheaters for mine, bigger is better I rekon. theres nothing worse in my opinion than a hot rod that looks under tyred..

 

I think these fit the bill perfectly.

 

My vote is the 29" tire. I have 30.5" tires in back. However I think it won't look right until you swap out them radials for a good looking bias.
