Hey guys ...ever wonder what what the heck you just did something for..???

Well last week i took delivery of a 30 ford sedan and a 30 ch***is.

Here is what I got ...

30 Ford Frame separated from car.
a 4 inch chop with great steel no holes ...not much rust
    suicided doors
****y tin firewall in place (has to go)
    roof welded
    No dash
    Radiator shroud no grill
    Head lights and light bar
    Original steel running board
    Fiberglas fenders front and rear
    Window tracks
    WIndow cranks
    Door handles

    front hood ...no side curtains
    BUmpers...I think
A wiring harness type not known.
Disc brakes and 8 inch drums for back
    No interior

30 chasiss ..real mess not salvagable..I think
(will post pics when figure out how)

There may be more odds and ends it was his sons who recently died so he is only somewhat familiar.

Here is my situation... I have a single car garage presently 12 feet wide (expanding to 19 feet wide and 21 feet deep...have an old 60 amp service I can run out to it...

Inventory of tools ...10 inch sears chop saw. misc household tools.. 6 vice grips ( man can never have enough).

Just acquired 5 hp Eagle 150 psi 80 gallon single phase three cylinder compressor that is now 575 volts ...have to get it back to 220 ....which it was the guy changed it. Cost me 600 and a half tank of fuel for the company truck.

Other than that I have no metal skills ...no suspension knowlege... no electrical skill...although 30 years ago I did a v-8 swap into my 57. and it ran.

Too much project for a 61 year old newbie..????

Impressed at the level of expertise here on HAMB ...nice to see so much support for a hobby for guys like me with more dream than brains,,,therein my name ....Wife took one look and said you MustBnuts....

good to be aboard ...will work on the pics this weekend ...NEED reedback
