goin fenderless and keepin the top open for now, i may make a removeable insert though, specs are- 1950 8ba,single 2 brl for now, have mached paire o' dueces and will buy a manifold, isky 3/4 bumpstick, stock point ignition, cnverted to 12 volt, c-4 automatic,9" non posi/2:74 gear, 40 ford front axle, has disc now but picked up 40 juice brakes,suspension is stock spring front and posie's rear 8 leaf with reversed eyes, i removed 2 leafs and made a spring spreader, thats a scary job for the last couple inches, actually started bending 3/4 all thread, next time i will get some b-9 and forget home depot galvanised.lol thanks for stoppin in
chop and channel are my 2 favorite flavors, but as true car guys, dont we owe a little to history to retain some of them in close to stock apperance, im thinking Vic Edelbrock era, removing excess sheetmetal and testing speed equipment in the family car, just a type of transitional hot rod

Im not going to tell you what to do with your car.. As you can see i didnt cut mine, and I like it that way, different strokes for different folks But i sure do like the direction of your build, so build it for you
