30 Tudor to 32 chassis question.

Discussion in 'New to the H.A.M.B.? Introduce yourself here!' started by Spanner, May 19, 2009.

  1. Hi! Guys, I am building a '30 tudor on '32 rails as a highboy and was informed that as I am retaining the stock '32 fuel tank I will have to modify the bottom of the back panel to fit down over the tank.Has anyone already done this task and if so how much does it modify the bottom of the rear panel?

    3 things:

    1. Welcome.

    2. This section is for intros. Do that, then put your question on the main board, you'll get a much better response as not everyone looks here.

    3. The search function is your friend.

You may have to do more than just modify the bottom of the body, you may also have to shorten the horns and move the tank closer to tuck it under the body some otherwise it may look like it's hanging out in the breeze. 32's are a longer wheelbase, 106" vs 103 1/2" And nothing beats mocking up. Hope this helps.
