I'm in need of custom wrist pin bushings to fit a custom set of pistons to the rods of this 302 GMC.
    The pins are BBC .990
O.D. of the rod end is 1.25
I once bought a set of these from Patricks, but of course he is long gone, RIP.
Any one know of a shop that could produce these?

My 302 also had pistons using BBC pins...A local speciality machine shop made them from the proper metal...Then the auto shop pressed them in and finished to size....
As a note, the rod big end to small ends varied as much as .007...

Stock pins are just over an inch I think, and very heavy...Custom pistons may have the lighter BBC pins.....So you need a custom bushing

270 pins are 0.990. You could switch to "419" rods.

    I'd find a set of pre- '56 rods ... 270 & 302 went to 1.052 pins in '56
