1952-59 Ford 302 swap

    which pickup tube do i need for the front sump oil pan????

    You can get it at Autozone the part# is Melling 68-S.If you don't have an Autozone close by when the guy at the counter asks what it's for tell them you have a 1968 Mustang with a 289.

    thanks jeff!!! im in the process of painting my block and heads and i have most of the motor dis***embled so i figured what a better time to pick up those parts. i put a new oil pump on just for added insurance.

    You can just tell them you have a front sump and you need the pick up for that and will work that way too .
    If you look on line at Advanced Auto you can get the numbers from there and that way you don't have to try to explain to the person behind the counter that you are installing a 302 in to an old Ford !
    Works much better that way without all the stupid questions about P/S , A/C and all that **** .
