303 Olds forged pistons ?

Just wondered if any Rocketeers have recently ordered 303 forged pistons ?

I'm kind of leary about putting a blower on Egge cast pistons.

Haven't bored it yet, it can go anything from.010 on up.

Just wondered about turn around after ordering and cost ?

Have you explored the option of using a piston from another engine?

The 303 has a 3.750" bore, but I do not recall the pin diameter or the compression height. If I had that data, I could see if there is an alternative.

 

terril machine might sell a forged piston. look in hemings for the #. nice guys and very informative. you could custom order some for an arm and a leg. good luck
