303 rocket fuel pump question??

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Billy the kid, Jan 3, 2008.

  1. My pump has the in and out for vaccum. What do I do with the ports since I won't be using the wipers? Is there an alternative pump I should look in to getting?

    Thanks, Billy

On my 324 the ports are just left open, nothing hooked to them & seem to be OK, but I think it might let dust in there & possible lessen the life of the fuel pump. I was thinking simply a piece of vacuum tubing from one port to the other. I think it will work good, probly shouldn't cap 'em off though.

  3. See, I was thinking of bending up a line to hook them together just to keep crap out but wasn't sure if it would pressurize and blow the gaskets out or something?
