Does anyone know where i can find a wiring diagram for a Olds 303 motor? Most of it is there but the two posts on top of the generator have nothing going to them so i dont know what they are for. Any help i can get would be great. I want to get going to some events and i cant until this wiring gets straightened out.

"arm" (left Terminal Looking Forward) Goes To Armature ("a") On The Regulator,, "field" (right Terminal ) Goes To "f" On Regulator. Ground Is Neg, Prolly Your Generator Bracket.
Use 10 Gage On Field, 14 On Arm.

Thanks for the info. Any further guidance on the wiring for this thing would be great. Is there anything i should be aware of? Also someone told me i can up the voltage to 8 volt. Is this very common or is someone just blowing smoke up my ass?

You could probally go to a 8 volt battery if needed, but first see what you have will work. I may have a wiring dia. in some books i have, so let me know if you need it. Your best bet would be to just change to 12 volts rather than 8.

If you have a wiring diagram you could copy for me that would be awesome. I was looking at it more closley and it is in pretty bad shape. I've never done a 6 t 12 volt swith before so im not sure this is the best time since i am trying to get on the road quickly. Maybe a good winter project. A good diagram will do for now. Thanks
