If you still have the computer and wiring I'll send you an edelbrock for it.

Another thing. Some blocks have provisions for a mechanical fuel pump, others don't. Check for a push rod hole, and lobe on the cam to use it. Otherwise you have to use an electric fuel pump. An older model HEI ignition will work ok too. The older model cast iron intakes can be used ,just omit the center verticle bolts. Fill them with silicone sealer to keep out dirt/water. If you have the $$ they do make aluminum intakes for these late model heads. Sparky:D

  6. IF- it is pre Vortec as you say,It is simple...use any pre 87 small block intake, and just bolt up the two front and two rear holes on each side.
Use thin layer RTV on all surfaces of intake gaskets.
Leave the two bolts [in the center] out of each side....[plug with RTV sealer].
Note,do not get crazy overtigtening the end bolts either....:D
This will work and has worked for over 5 years on my old pickup I used to drive....[still] being driven daily by its new owner now.

You can easily grind the center 4 bolt holes on the normal intakes to make them work. I never wanted to leave those bolts completely out myself.

If you'll do a search under my name, I've posted pictures on here before of an intake I did that to.

Chris50 (the Chris that striped your truck) has an Edelbrock intake in his shed that will fit your application. Give him a call. If you don't have his number, PM me and I'll get you in touch with him.
