I have been wondering what are peoples opinions about having the frame horns removed?

I have one with a bend in it. I have always felt it made the car look a little shorter and a bit more sporty. With them removed, It also makes it look like it has a frame swap:( I have seen only a few old pics without frame horns.

If anyone has a few good pics of cars without them that look great I would like to see them. I am trying to decide if I want to replace them or leave em off.
    thanks

    What kind of car?

Next it would depend on whether you want to have a bumper, I always seemed to get pulled over for not having one.

S**** metal- that exactly my thoughts. I was gonna run my head llight bar off the existing hangers from the stock spring location.

Mine are bobbed but still have the rounded end to them. Nice and clean.

  7. No frame horns mean no place for a spreader bar.
My 31 has a 32 frame but horns are there.
Long ago I thought it would add some stiffness but I'm
    not really sure it does.
Also another benefit for guys that drive a lot and maybe break
down often, a Blue Ox tow bar fits the horns!

I like the look of frame horns. I have a tbucket style frame with a round tube front crossmember and plan on adding a set of replacement model a front horns so I can add a spreader bar to the front.

dsiddons do you have a pic of yours from the front? I looked through your previous posts but did not see one from the front
