Frame front notch was still only tack welded, so next thing was welding. Also made support plates from 3mm sheet, just for safety's sake

Hey, i know that shovelhead of yours. You traded it with a friend of mine from our club.
I did a small fixjob for that bikes frame around 2 yrs ago. The castpiece right behind the clutch was broken and i replaced it with a solid one from a donor section. I've been messing with shovels over 20 yrs and i have never seen any problems like that, but i guess everything is possible.
Well, the bike looks good and so does your work with the model A. Keep it up!

Very nice work. I have enough work just making roadsters out of roadsters. It seems that some of you guys can make them out of tomato soup cans.

Hello ! Ville did tell me it had cracked and replaced. You did good job, holding on nice.
Good reason for hardtail if it would crack again
And thank you for compliments !

Amazing design and fabrication work throughout, especially...Well, no 'especial'!
The form at the cowl, the complete redesign of the flush doors, and the theme of the trunk handle matching doorhandles...and more...
You Finnish excel at 'Finish Work!'

Thank you ! To be fare, the amount of work is quite overwhelming, but i feel like this way i can do more custom features. For example doors are ~2 inchis longer, so body lines meet 32 frame lines better.
One piece at a time !

Thank you ! The cowl parts and trunkhandle are my favourite parts on this build. At least so far The idea is that everything flows with V-shape windshield

I was not happy with original inner wheel wells. Needs something more flow'y that matches cowl shape

After cardboard mockup shape was found:

    Continuing to passenger side.
Frames rear "horns" also needed small pinch to prevent wheel wells hitting frame.
These new wheel wells are also ~1 inch less deeper than originals, because of the channeled body

  9. Very graceful shapes. Something not usually said about the model A.

Thank you ! Inspiration is from later models, but trying not to over do or replice any certain model. Maybe i should name it 1931,5

The small boring stuff. Been making corners and getting rid of gaps, kind of "cleaning" everything so it will be easy to make floorpans once i get to it.

These were done before inner wheel wells, just forgot to post:

Nothing fancy here. But a lot of unnoticeable work.

The fun stuff again. Started building kustom rocker panels. I went little overboard with these.
Got the passenger side done :

    Rocker panel :

The lower rockers AND the shapely inner fender: Now, that's a flare with FLAIR!
BUT, the rocker panel finish panels? Just 'ducky', as my daughter sued to say.
(they say those things in California, or they 'did'...)
Beauty is in the profile of this beautiful roadster. Went one up on the '32 Highboys!

Very nice trim piece. What was it from? Or did you fabricate it?
    TIA.

I made these trim pieces from stainless steel with a bead roller. It took a while to figure out how to get the right look, but fearly simple to make once i knew what to do
