    Hi, all.

I'm making this thread to keep myself organized and ask any questions I might have. My father-in-law gave me his 31 Model A he had started building but hasn't worked on in 20 years.

It's on a custom frame, and most of the big fabrication there is already done. The body is nearly rust-free, only some minor surface rust. One quarter-sized dent on an upper back corner. All the doors and windows work nicely. I'm not chopping it; too tall and it looks cool enough already.

It has 4 wheel discs and half-rack steering. It has a SBC with TPI sitting in it right now; don't know if I'm keeping that yet. 700R4 Trans. Ford 8 3/4 rear end with 3.40 posi.

I've got some ideas for the interior, but who knows where it'll end up. It might be a slow build depending on time/money.

Good luck. My first car project was a 31 Model A. Still a favorite. Have fun.

Your father must think a lot of you. Looks like a nice A with much of the hard work done.
