Installing the wood so I can send the cab back for final paint. Switched to a 392 Hemi with a 6x2 intake. Still lots to do. Hopefully will be done by Christmas :)

The paint lays down a litTle weird. From different angles it has a different appearance. One it will look totally smooth and other it looks patchy. My painter says its overspay and once you wash it once and dry it with a towel it will smooth out. Overall I'm really happy with it.

i think it looks terrific! but, i would lower the bed down to the frame rather than filling the gap. the bed would line up better with the body and the tires that way. IMO.

If you lowered it the bed would become useless and the top of the bed runs at the exact same level as the body lines in the doors and cab. During the mockup I had the bed lowered and it looked like ****. If this wasnt a duece frame maybe but it's built as a highboy.

after seeing pictures it looks much better than i thought it would. so often when i see that space filled it makes the bed look very tall and disproportionate. i think the step really breaks the lines up and works well. btw, i love the color; great choice!
