31 Sedan roof insert donor car help

    Need your help guys, I looked on here and could'nt find anything. I just purchased a 31 sedan body and need to know what donor car is good for the roof insert. thanks

    i like the ribbed stationwagons also. a lot of guys say it's too streetroddy but hell,we did it eons ago.

    Put a top off of an old Mercury Wagon turned around backwards on my 29 Sedan.
    Its ribbed.

    83 gmc van,you can do it twice if needed.i sold the other half to someone who was doing the same.

    Dodge magnum wagon... Go right to the dealer and order a new roof for about $200. It fits really good. Why not just do a soft top?

    i used a 96 jeep grand cherokee tured around backward. fit like it was made to be there

    Hit the search ****on, there are a few threads on this very thing...Most of em will even have this same picture..

    My sedan has a 2001 Mazda minivan roof. It is a bit street rody in my opinion, but the flames kind of cover it a bit. 30 bucks at the local pick-a-part.

    63 chevy station wagon worked for me on my 32 chevy sedan . Has the little ribs.

  12. I have used 84-86 blazer tops,50's ford 4 door galaxie tops, van tops, and jeep cherokees. All cheap at your local wrecking yard.

    For non-ribbed donors, look at Lincoln Towncars and Volvo station wagons.

    I Used Steves Restorations out of Oregon & He Louvered it before I put it in! Mines a 5 Window but He will make you what you want! I Looked @ a lot of other stuff but nothing like working with a new piece of metal! Tks! Bill
