Don't know how I missed this one................. Any updates or ya been to busy getting down doing the paint on the UNI?
thanks fellas, and yes im back on this project now. got all the doors pulled from the body yesterday.fab'd up some new door frame pockets and hinge areas that where missing from rust and started to work on cleaning up the hinges and hope make them usable.
been awhile since i posted any progress pics. got the inner rockers fab'd up and made the entry steps. i like to make them at an angle on a channeled car like this, so you do not have a big ledge when you open the door. added some beads to them also for strength and looks.
thank you. made some more progress on it today. waiting for some new dies for my baileigh bead roller to arrive and finish up some stuff.
you really got fab-skills awesome looking stuff - pretty clean and impressive welding 'n constructing subscribed
Nice work, makes me want to start on my 29 Studey cabiolet, but 2 others to finish first. Will be watching this build.
Not a '31, but a '32 President hot rod with 85,000 driven miles...Hope to see the car you are building down the road..I'm running a built 383 Mopar, 727 torqueflite, and '62 9.3 pontiac posi. These old Studes attract a lot of attention...good luck..Joe Visit my profile and see albums for many pics of a well worn and well driven '32 Pres...
had a few people ask about this project at the open house during the hamb drags weekend, unfortunality it has lost funding, and the owner now has it back.
