Dude, let me know I want to go!!! I forgot In my post I kept mentioning "we". Well the other half is Matt "the Ratt" Proctor, He has worked for me for awhile, and has been doing an excellent job! It is really cool watching someone progress in their fabrication skills.

Hey Jimmy, Love the front axle. I am going to use the same approach on my 34 5 window. What did the spring width end up being? What are you going to do for shock mounts? What are the spring perches(aftermarket? length?) Awesome work as per usual. Thank ahead of time. Does anybody make a new spring for these axles or do I just have to do what you did and get the main made up. Dale

Dale, I had to have the spring custom made, I had them make it with a little bit more of an arch. I am still planning the shock mounts, perches are aftermarket, just standard length. Here is the deal, the spring was a pain in the ****!! The place that made the spring made it to long, I had to bring it back to get shortened twice, After the second time it came out perfect. After I went through all of that, I heard that 50's F-100 would work, I havent researched it, and I dont know for sure if it will work, it might be worth looking into. If you need help with the spring call me at the shop.

Nice chop on the coupe.........pretty cool that a 'garage' builder can bring his car to ya for just a chop and then take it home......I'm sure you're a busy man....
Great craftsmanship......those motor mounts are pretty sweet....

Damn it Jimmy, making us look like hacks.
Outstanding my friend, the devil is in the details.

I tried for ages to buy a 31 Vicky that had been hot rodded in the 70s, it had a SBC in it and ****ing huge sidepipes. It was in great condition though, looked like it hadn't been moved in years........and then one day it was gone.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!! Yeah the guy that built his Model A is a cool guy that stops by the shop all the time. He was unsure about chopping it, so he asked me if we could squeeze it in. It was fun to do, its been awhile since I have chopped a car!!
