I bought a 315 dodge hemi a few years back and decided to get it running recently. It’s pretty much done now and I’ll be posting pics and technical info. Hopefully this may help others interested in helping make choices about their own build.
315 Dodge Hemi block: D633 - 107967. Poly 1956 heads: 1734049 - 1 Dodge hemi 56 Pistons: 030 Poly 8-1 pushrod holes elongated on block @ Adj. pushrods intake factory 4v carb: Holly 650 on run stand exhaust manifolds factory center dump cam: custom grind by Delta / Gary Dur: 221.8. Lift V. 444 225.3. 451
Valve reliefs in Poly pistons are not exactly in the same place as the hemi pistons. Did you check clearance?
