I am putting manual windows in a '32 3-window. Fibergl*** body, 1-1/2" chop, with no indication of where the 7 holes for the regulator and crank should be. I have access holes, but otherwise a smooth surface. I have looked at every '32 I know of within 100 miles and they have all gone to electric windows and when you pull a screwdriver out of your pocket at a car show, folks get nervous. Would anyone have the measurements from a couple places on the door for locating this? I would really appreciate it.
Some photos here: https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1932-ford-3-window.1320981/ Let's see if @Flat Power can help with measurements.
Phil: Thanks. Pictures are great. Looks like the unit is parallel to window edge, which makes sense. A couple of measurements would lock it down.
Andy, I would be most grateful. I could try to scale off the photo as Dave suggested, but a couple of numbers I am sure would get me closer to correct. Mike
Phil: Thanks for the welcome. I have pilfered answers to questions from the HAMB for years. Figured I should finally join in.
I actually followed up! From the back of the door forward To the handle centerline--- 27" From the bottom of the door up to the handle centerline----20" These are not rounded off. These are what I measured. Hope it works for you!
