I know that two companies off the top of my head do three window dashes...that appears to be the Dearborn Deuce metal one...very high price but very nice. The other was glass and that company may have gone under (I can't recall). I am pretty sure Brookville is going to do one for the new 3 window they are doing...if any of this is wrong I am sure someone more in the know can give you more details but I think I have it right [IMG]

  4. Brookvilles wont be ready til late next year according to what they told me yesterday.

I don't know about the dash but I did check the other items he has for sale...
he has an auction for Genat's "Little Duece Coupe" book, the bidding is over $48.00!!!!
You gotta love ebay, idiots bidding three times the value of an item just because it's on ebay and it says 32 Ford on it. I bought this book new on Amazon for $12...retail price on the cover is only $14.95. There's a*****er born every minute...why aren't they bidding on my stuff! [IMG]

Might be one of the one's Hot Rods and Horsepower is doing for their Dearborn Deuce. It would be nice to see them make something that's equal to their advertising. The three window body's aren't into PRODUCTION as of the last I heard and they promised body's over a year and a half ago. They seem to promise WAY more than they are capable of delivering.
As a side note. Has anyone here taken a look at the $2500/pair '32 front fenders that were going to be "better than what Henry Ford produced in 1932". Don't miss a chance if you have an opportunity to look at those beauties. It wouldn't take an old time hammer and dolly man much over 2 days each to make them presentable.

3 windows are really nice, but I must admit I have never liked their dashes, I would just go for a regular 5 window or sedan dash (not sure if they fit straight in, but anything can be made to fit ). 3 window dashes belong in restored 3 windows.
    Just my thoughts

'32 3-w dashes are a little wider than the other '32 dashes, so it would take some work to make one of those fit. That dash looks nice, but I don't know how well it fits. '33-'34 dashes fit pretty well into a 3-w, I've also seen a '40 dash in one, and the red primered 3-w at the Roundup had a different dash in it; thought it was a '49 but I could be wrong on that. If you want a '32 3-w dash, you'll have to pay some bucks, and, I agree with whodaky, they aren't exactly beautiful.

thanks crazydaddy, wasn't sure about the width on a 3 window, I only have a 5 window, tudor and roadster. Have never been fortunate enough to stumble onto a 3 window. No matter what way you go Gooch I am sure it will be just right,

Mine came without a dash, so as I mentioned in the last thread about these dashes about a week ago, I've adapted a Reprosteel roadster dash. While I don't have an original three-window dash to use as a reference, I can tell you that if the roadster dash was any wider than stock, it would be too wide to fit the three-window. The cars all use the same firewalls, and the bodies have the same amount of taper in the cowl when you look down on it. It's the '32 three-window trunk lids that are 3 1/4" wider than the roadster and five-window trunk lids.

I've mounted all of the gauges in the adapted dash, but I still need to fabricate something to finish off the top of the dash before I post any pictures of it.

I'd much rather talk than type, so feel free to call me at (602) 233-8400 anytime.

Why not go all out and do something different.

I got a 39 Ford Right Hand Drive dash with glove box lid - but no guages - that I don't have a use for.!!

And I don't have anywhere $1K on it.

    Cheers
