I know the shell is larger than, say, a coupe. However, are the inserts the same size as the coupe, roadster, sedan, etc.? I keep hearing this but I can't put my hand on a truck grille shell and 32 insert.
the "insert" is part of the shell on the truck shell. I have seen that the repro gl*** shells are made to fit a p***enger insert though.
I've mastered the differances on the cabs but the grille '32 shells confuse me a little. as far as '33 - '34 truck shells - they are the same height and width just "Deeper" than a regular '32 P*** & the grille is part of the shell - "all-in-one" )

Ah, thanks fellas.....I now see the light. This link answers my questions......my searches didn't turn up this..
The '33 shell has a raised ridge from the Ford emblem up to the radiator cap. The '34 doesn't have that. Otherwise, I believe they are the same.
