'32-'34 Ford door handle measurement

Gents; Could one of you please let me know the diameter of the shank where the escutcheon plate mounts to the door. Pic attached of area to be measured. I plan on using the Essex plates on the Ford handles(if they fit).Thanks.

 

new one right off of the shelf is .72 in

Brant;Thanks very much;the Essex plates are .738 so that's a good fit;as we say up here"it's close enough for govt. work".
