A couple of years ago i talked to a man who I think was in Missouri that had bought the 5 window mold from Kilbourne. He had a fire and the mold was ruined. I can't remember his name. Does anybody know if someone is making these bodies again?
Kilbourne is building a 5w again. I saw The owner a Frog Follies last year. Great quality Car For the money.
lildeucecpe here on the HAMB has a 5W with a Kilbourne body. It was built almost ten years ago now and is holding up real well. I don't know why but for some reason this car looks vaguely familiar to me
FUEL PUMP - Whos 5W is that a picture of? I'd like to know if that's a Kilbourne body, and what the wheel/hubcap como is...
Lildeucecpe owns it and yes its a Kilbourne body. The wheels are chrome gennies with 50 Merc hub caps.
Bob M***ey is the fellow from Joplin Mo. that bought the molds from Kilbourne, and made some improvements. They were destroyred in a fire. He has since made new molds and to my knowlage is back in business. Ed if you need a place to park that thing , I can make some room is the shed. I won't put many miles on it. Just a few to make it feel loved.
My friend's 32 3W is a Kilbourne body. We had very little trouble with it ***embled to a boxed original frame.
