Yeah, if it's nice you can expect to pay over $10k pretty easily... These days, those bodies are worth whatever in the hell you can afford.

You might have been closer if you had added a one in front of your number.

$2500! I would have peed on your shoes....
A decent 3w body is worth at least 10k. There was an unchopped one at the LARS last year for 40k! Instead of making an offer, you should have asked how much he would take for it. You never know ...he might have said 5k, HA HA!

Junk ones bring 15 to 20 grand
But there are a few NEW Brookvilles available ... no waiting ... for the list price of 25 grand. What I do not understand is WHY ... after waiting for your 3W to be built by Brookville ... and finally getting it ... the 3W's are up for sale ... and just trying to regain the original purchase price ??

I have seen 3 or 4 for sale ... unbuilt and on the pallet.

    I wonder WHY ?

good lord the prices have gone up on this stuff. my dad and i are looking at the post today and he said he wished he knew the prices this stuff would have brought 10 or 15 years ago. he would have bought everything he could have gotten his hands on!! but the same is true with the shoebox Fords today, things that dad and i bought 10 years ago for next to nothing are bringing stupid money now. we bought 5 NOS 8BA blocks at the Maggie Valley swap meet 6 or 7 years ago for $300 for all of them. the last guy that tried to buy one from us offered $1000 for one, and as always dad said nothing he has is for sale.

another thing you could do is find a nice 31 5 window and build it on some deuce rails, at least you could find one for your $2500.

it also comes with a built 302 with a hilborn setup and a polished c4 and some misc items.

  21. You better make this deal quick . . . before somebody gets to him. If the body is in good shape (with garnish moldings), it is probably worth $15 - 20K easy.

    I found a model a body a few years ago 31.
Another friend of mine bought it for 3,000 he had been looking for a while and said that was a good deal so he bought it.
32's are out of sight now for a working guy to buy.
buy a gl*** one I won't tell anyone.
I know a guy who bought one and is pretty happy with it and I bet 75% of the guys on here couldn't tell. at a glance.
Steel is overrated anyway. If youv'e got to buy one get a brookville.with a ***le that you can buy over the web . you won't have to fix the rot out or the bad fixes that were done to it !

you better get off the computer and take that bike to him!!!if you dont have one stop at the local harley dealer and finance one before he changes his mind.

  25. true...the price `32 bodies have gone out of sight, but before add my opinion on the value i'd like to know a little more about it. doors? decklid? garnish? dash? subrails? is the bottom 6 inches missing? has it been flattened by tractor?
