anyone have a shop in so cal or have one that is fairly easy to move that we can borrow...or is up to taking my frame back to stock rake? giving this a shot before I up and sell it and buy a hole new frame...the only other thing that would need to be changed is the trans mounts...but we could do that...we can do the frame pie cut it and kick it back down as well but I'd like to have a jig available so we get it right and not just eyeball it pm if if interested in either helping or doing this. heres a picture of the frame and the fugly stinkbug rake in it
trestles126 Member * * Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: Costa Mesa Posts: 67 Anyone have any advice on doing this we plan on cutting a hole with a hole saw on the inside of the frame to reviel the pie cut but are unsure if there is any stock kick in the frame at the firewall or if it's level amd we can just hold a straight edge up to it and bend it back box gusset and refinish it to look new again. With out a jig we probably won't get it exact but close to stock is what we want
bro i think you would be better off buying new rails i can get them done any way you want to fit the body if you wanna trade labor for the frame and wheels let me know
