Over the years I've had a lot of pinstriping on all of my cars but I've never on a 32 firewall. I'm looking for pictures or ideas that will help me decide what to do. Billetproof Michigan is two weeks away so I need to decide what to do. What would you do??

  2. I would just let the pinstriper do his thing..... they are the artist after all!

Just my opinion, but if I had the skills, and a firewall, I'd pin stripe a reflection of the engine on the firewall.

Yea Ray has done all of my other cars and I pretty much left it to him and they turned out great! I started this post because I saw a really cool design a few weeks ago and hoped that it might get posted because I'd like to see it again.

Check out my fotki link below. Go to the pinstriping/lettering/signs folder and check out TONS of stripes, many done by HAMBers or from HAMBers cars.

It should help give you an idea of what you like and you can pass on the request to your pinstriper (and THEN turn him/her loose!)

Just some idea of a firewall i did on this 35 Ford. Very random. I didn't want to try to match each side. My friend just gave me free reign..." Do whatever you want!" he usually says. Thats the best.

Here's a couple, It's the only ones I could find in my pics. You can't go wrong with letting Ray loose on it or any of the other guys pinstriping at Billetproof.

I talked to Ray at Billetproof Detroit about pinstriping the 5W and he talked me out of doing the firewall. Here is what we came up with instead and I am really happy with it.

A couple of well placed decals would also look cool, what brand(s) of speed equipment are you using?
