Yes, they are exactly the same. Maybe the truck you're looking at is a 33-34. They are definitely different.

Haven't you been listening? The pickup and truck firewalls are the same as passenger in '32's

wow..I am really sorry.....I was just wondering if a 32 pick-up firewall was flat at the bottom.....or was it the same kicked out at the bottom like a passenger car.
    I was just asking pal....

There are early and late versions. The early ones matched side to side at the bottom. The later US versions had the box extension for more foot room for the petals. The foreign firewalls stayed like the early ones as for as I know and that is not very far. No difference between firewalls between p/u and pass. Only early and late.

Hey Jeff...the pic above of my old truck has the kickout for pedal clearance, so it's the later version.

  15. Yeah, you asleep or something? Sniffing the ink again huh?
But along the same lines, what is the diff between Model B and V8 firewalls if any? Never had the 2 side by side.

There were 2 different firewall's on the US produced 1932 Ford, ( as you know now) but the gauge tunnel is longer for a passenger car, there was 3 variations in frames , 2 different dashboards ( not including the 3/W or P.U.)
2 Different hoods, 2 different front fenders, 3 different Radiator shells and inserts.( all I can think of now )
As Ripply would say "believe it or not"

I'm no '32 expert but the B motor had a vibration dampener that looked like a friction shock mounted behind the motor. I don't know if the firewall holes were predrilled on all firewalls for B & V8 use.

Model B firewalls are way different. There is this crazy support/mount type thing that rises up from the bell housing area and bolts to a stud/boss located in the center of the fire wall. Kind of a peculiar deal.

The only difference that I know of is the location of holes for the different items that bolt to the firewall like that thingie?? in the middle and the gas pedal linkage. The basic firewall is the same.

I believe that is a 33/34 firewall. The 32's were separate and the 33/34 were welded in. They also stick out a little for extra foot room.

Yep 33/34. What does the back of the cab look like and does the roof have a screw on the ouside @ the windshild post holding the roof skin to the w/s post?

If the back of the cab has 2 belt line moldings then it is a '33 if it has 2 + 1 fat one on top...for a total of 3 belt line moldings across the back of the cab than it is a '34
