Hey guys, I have been working on a 32 five window for a while now, recently rebuilding the cowl. I'm using parts from two different cowls, I thought things were going together well, until I checked my windshield fit. I think it happened when I fit the dash rail, I used the original rivet holes to line things up. I was wondering if someone could give me the body measurements at the window opening so I could get back on track. Thanks

Mine measures 43 1/2 inches from the inside to the inside on the bottom of the opening.
43 3/4 wide up where the two windshield swing arm mounts are.

If that was mine, and the ws hinges seem to be ok, I would center the ws at the bottom, and split the top to the outside of the hinges and move it in accordingly. If the hinges bind, or are at the end of their adjustments, split it in the center above the ws. It sounds like a lot of work, but it beats bondo.
