Every state is different. Probably no designation from 5-window to 3-window, but maybe there was a deluxe coupe vs. standard coupe.

    Or could just say 2-door.

Sometimes the state used the model number for that body style.

My original 32 3 window ***le said 2 dr coupe. I'm sure it varied as each county clerk typed it up? Also In NE the ***le was created from some other form later than 32 as there were supposedly no ***les originally?

As the terms three window or five window are colloquial expressions that are used by car aficionados, you won't find a DMV using it as a descriptor on any ***le. It's either a coupe, a sedan, or a roadster/convertible as to body style, or as alchemy noted above, if they have or know Ford's model number, that may appear.

In Texas it would be a two door.
