how much for the back part, I wanna turn my original paint 5-window into a four door sedan?

 

here is a few pics of the chassis the coupe will be built on. this is just tacked mock up of the chassis . still have lots more to do. i just wanted to get the chassis along to build the body to it. i will make a sub floor to place the body on.

dont mind the olds engine in the back ground . its my bads and it was handy to mock up in the photo. i have a buick 401 nailhead for this project. just had to have something in the photo to look cool. also some spx on the chassis pinched 4" in the front , bw 2" longer in the front with spring behind the axle, kick up in the back 5 1/2".will have split bones in the front, back have not decided but will have 40 spring.

Again, what a shame. I admire your ambition, but it is sad to see another original get destroyed. Maybe you should have thought this through a little more.

 

Chassis looks good to me, more details on the back kickup cut would be nice.

I hate to say this, but maybe YOU should take some of your own advice and read post #115. He's selling whatever he doesn't need from the sedan to fix the 5 window so he can fund the 5 window project. Really, what's the big deal?? I'm not saying I'd have cut the sedan up, but at the end of the day it's HIS car!!! At least he's not just throwing the rest of the sedan away. I'm sure someone out there will put it too good use.

 

this is too funny . i guess people think i am some junk rod builder with a saw-z-all a torch and crazey ideas. now if you just look at my albums or photobucket photos of my cars or customers car you will find out that i have enough tallent to put it back together and build something out of nothing. oh well as some will cry others will be amazed. now it is because of all the gold chainers that i have to build a deuce 5 window out of a 4 door. if everyone over 65 wasnt sitting on 32 body for an investment then i would not have had to cut a mint body up(haha).dont hate the player just hate the game.

Lots of complaints about cutting up a perfectly good Fordor - yet I can't sell my cheap, POS Fordor that would be PERFECT to hack up to build a 5W!

Apparently you can't read,he's using it to make a 5 window coupe out of. He sold the tub part to fund the rest of the build.

I love a '32 Fordor & hate to see one cut up but I have no doubt that 32CD can get it done. He built the car below & it is the ONLY off-brand, belly dragging, hot rod I've ever liked.... & I absolutley LOVE it.

 

Once again, another shitty "bash" thread on this Forum....Drew and his dad have built a "HUGE" amount of kick ass cars and chassis for customers in the last few years. Best part?? they do it out of their own home shop, keep their mouths shut, and let the quality speak for itself. Drew, keep it up. Oh, and I need to talk to you about that 5 window body I found that I want to cut into a sofa lounger..... You do good work, fuck the critics...

 

What a shame to see a nice 4 door body cut up. But hey it's your money and your project good luck with it.

 

thats a lot of work to waste a perfectly good 4dr just to be like everybody else.
