I built my roadster over 10 years ago as I thought it might have been built "back in the day" Unboxed frame rails; who would have done that? Right. So here I am years later resolved to fix shortcomings of the original build. On bumpy roads the door pinch and she sound of pieces falling off ...to me it sounded like a rolling piece of ****. After discovering that Ch***is Engineering was not making the bolt in ch***is legs any longer I discovered the ones made in UK by "the pinstriper. " He has them for sale in the HAMB cl***ifieds under for sale. I didn't want to tear the whole car apart, and these seem to be a logical solution to frame flex. I just have to say these parts are made beautifully. I don't see how they could be improved on. And they fit without the use of welder, lathe, and milling machine!
I just realized that Ch***is Engineering was not the source for this type of reinforcement. Rather Ii was "Industrial Ch***is"
