Guess Irendale must be a LOT stickier then our track. Course thats not sayin much, our track is a POS. No way a 10.5 would hook that hard here.

WOW! I love it. Very cool find. I'm betting it's "stock style" suspension. ;)

I know the guy, and it is an all steel '32 on buggy springs and a stock frame. It does have a cage and it did some front end "rearranging" when it came back down, but has been repaired and is back in action.

His '32 roadster with the blown hemi is a gl*** body, but lots of fun with a 4 speed and real low rearend gears.

I've been watching this car run since I was a kid, same guy's been running it for probably close to 30 years. Never seen it run slower than 10 seconds.
It's an original car and the frontend is all early ford stuff (dropped I-beam, stock wishbone, 40 brakes). It does have a full cage in it.
Trust me on this one, this car is the real deal.

That is what I was hoping/waiting for. The cage was a gimmie... but I was hoping it was an honest to goodness hot rod.

    Thanks for clearing it up!

Cool, but 130mph with '40 brakes...? Glad he's on the track.
